Football: This is the king of them all. Football betting at 789mvp covers hundreds of leagues from around the world — the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League, Liga 1 Indonesia, and international cup tournaments. For every match, dozens of betting markets are available: final result, Asian Handicap, over/under total goals, odd/even score, first goalscorer, and much more.
Basketball: The NBA is the most popular basketball league in Indonesia, and 789mvp provides full coverage of every NBA game night — regular season, playoffs, and the NBA Finals. Beyond the NBA, EuroLeague, NBL Australia, and national basketball competitions from various countries are also available.
Badminton: As Indonesia's beloved national sport, badminton receives special attention at 789mvp. All BWF World Tour tournaments from Super 100 to Super 1000, the Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, and the Olympics are available with highly competitive odds. Backing Indonesian shuttlers on home soil always feels extra special.
Tennis: Grand Slam (Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, US Open), ATP Tour, WTA Tour — all available at 789mvp. Tennis offers a wide range of exciting bet types thanks to its unique structure: you can bet per set, per game, or even per point in live betting.
E-Sports: This is one of the fastest-growing and most popular categories among young Indonesian players. Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, Dota 2, CS:GO, and League of Legends — all major tournaments are available on 789mvp. MPL Indonesia, MDL, M-Series, and other Southeast Asian regional tournaments are right here for you to follow and bet on.
Other Sports: Volleyball, rugby, American football (NFL), baseball (MLB), MMA & UFC, boxing, snooker, cricket, and Formula 1 racing — all available for 789mvp members looking to diversify their bets.
One of the most popular features at 789mvp is live betting — the ability to place bets while a match is actively in progress in real-time. Unlike pre-match betting placed before a game starts, live betting lets you react to how the match is actually unfolding.
Picture this: the first half of the Champions League final has been going for 30 minutes, your favorite team is leading 1-0 but playing slightly less dominantly than usual. You can open live betting at 789mvp right away and place an over bet on total goals because you can see your team pressing hard. Or you can bet on the opposing team to equalize because you're spotting signs of a momentum shift. That's the thrill of live betting — you're not just a passive spectator, but an active participant making decisions based on what's actually happening on the pitch.
The live betting interface at 789mvp updates in seconds. Odds change dynamically as the match progresses, and live stats such as ball possession, shots on goal, yellow/red cards, and injury time are displayed in real time to help you make informed decisions.
If you're placing a sports bet for the first time, understanding the different betting markets is an important first step. Don't worry — even though many bet types are available, most players only need to master three to four of the most common ones to start enjoying the thrill of betting at 789mvp.
| Bet Types | Quick Overview | Difficulty Level | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1X2 (Full Time Result) | Predict which team wins or if it ends in a draw | Beginner | All new players |
| Asian Handicap | Favorites are assigned negative values, underdogs positive values | Intermediate | Experienced Player |
| Over / Under | Predict whether the total goals/points will be over or under a set number | Beginner | All players |
| Mix Parlay | Combine multiple bets for multiplied odds | Advanced | Experienced Player |
| Correct Score | Predict the exact final score of the match | Advanced | High Roller |
| First Goal Scorer | Predict who scores the first goal | Intermediate | Player Stats Enthusiast |
| BTTS (Both Teams Score) | Will both teams score a goal? | Beginner | Analytical Player |
Tips for Beginners: Start with 1X2 and Over/Under bets. Both are the easiest to understand and require no in-depth knowledge of handicap systems. Once you are comfortable, explore Asian Handicap, which offers more options and often more attractive odds.
Sports betting differs from casino games — there is significant room for knowledge and analysis to influence outcomes. Players who take the time to study team statistics, player conditions, and head-to-head history consistently make better decisions than those who rely purely on gut feeling.
Research Before You Bet: Before placing a bet on any match, take a few minutes to check the basics: both teams' recent form (last 5 matches), their head-to-head record, players missing due to injury or suspension, and whether the match is meaningful to both sides or just a formality.
Value Betting: The most important concept in long-term betting is finding "value" — situations where the odds offered are higher than the true probability as you assess it. If you calculate Team A has a 60% chance of winning but the available odds imply only 45%, that is a high-value bet.
Bankroll Management: Even professional betting analysts don't win every time. What sets successful players apart from those who quickly run out of funds is discipline in bankroll management. Many experienced players use the flat betting rule — placing the same amount (typically 1–3% of total balance) on every bet, regardless of how confident they feel about a prediction.
Avoid Emotional Betting: Betting on your favourite team out of emotional loyalty rather than rational analysis is one of the most common mistakes. At 789mvp, you can bet on any team from anywhere in the world — use that objectivity to make smarter, more rational decisions.
One of the key advantages of 789mvp over conventional betting is convenience — you can place bets from anywhere, at any time, with just your phone in hand. The 789mvp mobile interface is built for maximum comfort on smaller screens: an easy-to-scroll match list, large and easy-to-tap bet buttons, and a clear betslip view.
For the best experience — especially when following live betting where every second counts — we strongly recommend using the native 789mvp app. Our app is available on the App and optimized for fast loading, more responsive real-time odds updates, and push notifications for matches you are following. No more missing great odds because your browser was slow to refresh.
All winnings from sports bets are credited to your account balance automatically once the official match result is confirmed. From there, you can jump straight into other games on 789mvp or make a withdrawal to your preferred bank account or e-wallet at any time.
We always remind you: sports betting should add excitement to watching, not become a source of financial stress. Set a betting budget that fits your means before you start, and stick to it. A full responsible gambling guide is available on the Responsible Gaming.
